As part of Miu Miu’s Women’s Tales commission, Brigitte is Lynne Ramsay’s first documentary. The short film depicts a portrait session between photographer Brigitte Lacombe, Ramsay, and their friends and families. Shot entirely in black and white, it’s accompanied by a voiceover interview between the photographer and director with subject matter that ranges from their work to their personal lives.

The film premiered during Venice Film Festival 19 and went on to screen at the New York Film Festival and more.
